Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. directed subsurface utility engineering services including horizontal and vertical location, identification and verification of utilities utilizing test hole excavation.

Services included:

  • Obtained all permits required for test hole excavations
  • Evaluated potential for conflict with existing utilities of the proposed construction
  • Excavated test holes utilizing air/vacuum excavation
  • Installed permanent survey markers over the centerline of the pipes, edge or concrete structures or conduit banks at grade
  • Recorded location of permanent marker with swing tie measurements to existing permanent structures
  • Surveyed test hole locations
  • Prepared test hole reports
