A. MORTON THOMAS and Associates, Inc. (AMT) provided landscape design associated with the repair / replacement of the front stairs, replacement of a portion of the sidewalk in that area, and the installation of a handicap ramp at the northeastern limits of that sidewalk at Maryland Hall Elementary School. The plans and improvements require Historic Annapolis approval.
AMT's services included:
- Review available plans and data to provide further understanding of the project.
- Provide an on-site visit to observe and confirm existing conditions.
- Field measure existing dimensions and unit locations by topographic survey.
- Establish ADA requirements and compliance approaches.
- Prepare a design development submission and report, including outline of the findings and the evaluation.
- Provide recommendations based on the analysis.
- Provide a cost estimate for the recommended program.
- Submit to and provide coordination with Historic Annapolis to gain their approval of the program.
- Prepare construction documents and specifications for bidding purposes.
- Attend a pre-bid meeting, a pre-construction meeting and two-three (2-3) progress meetings during construction.
- Respond to RFIs and review submittals.
