UMAB Transportation Study, University of Maryland - Baltimore, MD
AMT provided traffic/transportation planning and design services on and adjacent to the UMAB campus associated with vehicular circulation, parking and loading considerations, pedestrian and bicycle circulation, safety improvements, geometric improvements, and way finding including signage and markings. From traffic analysis including capacity and level of service, street realignments were developed for Greene Street, Paca Street, Eutaw Street, Pratt Street, and Russell Street. Additionally, costs were estimated for associated work/improvements including demolition of existing concrete curbs, pavement, sidewalks, street lights, planters, signs and decorative lights, signal modifications, utility adjustments, and staging to minimize impacts on existing operations.
Project components included:
- Geometric Evaluation
