A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. is providing civil engineering services for the project located at 1st and M Streets, SE. The development includes demolition of the existing structures, new 12-story residential and commercial towers with 4 new below-grade parking levels. Services include meeting with District of Columbia Department of Health, Watershed Protection Division to present conceptual stormwater management design, coordination with the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority for water flow tests and review of existing water and sewer facilities within the project area to determine acceptable points of connection to existing mains for the water and sanitary and storm sewer services. Plans include curb and gutter, sidewalks, and driveway improvements; site layout with horizontal control; site grading; site utility; SWM; erosion and sediment control; replacement water service main.

Additionally, AMT is providing site topographic survey, subsurface utility mapping and property subdivision services.
