Strathmore Hall Performing Arts Center, Rockville, MD
A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. provided comprehensive engineering services for the renovation and addition to this arts center. This facility which operates as the County Arts Center showcases visual, literary and performing arts, serving over 100,000 people annually. The new 4,200 sq.ft. addition houses a museum shop, conference room, offices, public restrooms and two egress stairs. The existing 10,500sq. ft. building was rehabilitated to provide museum quality exhibition galleries, new administrative offices and improved visitor and service circulation.
