On-Call Construction Engineering Districts 6 & 7, Maryland
AMT is providing construction engineering, management, inspection and administrative services for a number of traffic signal projects throughout several State Highway Administration Districts. Services include inspection of:
- sign and signal foundations
- poles
- mast arms
- cameras, signal heads
- conduits
- cables
- wires
- test pitting
- trenching
- utility location/identification
- backfilling
- power hook-ups
Other services included materials testing for
- soils, concrete, and asphalt; project documentation
- quantity verification
- evaluation of traffic controls, lane closure permits, environmental controls, and project close-out
Tasks have been assigned throughout seven Maryland Counties and within the Traffic Operation headquarters in Hanover, Maryland. In addition to field operations, AMT is providing supplemental staff to the SHA Traffic office for supporting contractor payments, maintaining lane closure permits, change orders, claims, and project close-outs.
