Pedestrian and Bicycle crossing of I-270 at MD 28
A. Morton Thomas and Associates managed and inspected this project under SHA and FHWA specifications. It included a two span pedestrian bridge over I-270, a six span bridge over Ramp C to I-270, and a single span bridge over exit ramps E & F from I-270 including structural steel and the use of form liners and aesthetic enhancements. Additional work included box culvert modification, bridge lighting, HMA paving, stormwater management facility retrofit @ Ramp C, utility adjustments and landscaping. AMT was also responsible for the schedule analysis and approval, claims review and recommendations, periodic and final reports, major milestones reports, material testing, contractor payments, document control, traffic control, environmental stewardship, etc.
