American University Soccer Field and Track
A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) designed a new award-winning soccer field and track facility. Due to the site space constraints, the design effort included investigations for, and adherence to the extent possible, to NCAA guidelines. The design also required 700 LF of a 10 foot high retaining wall, utilities, upgrading and rerouting, and stormwater management controls. All local regulatory permits were obtained. The University's goal of having the soccer field design and construction completed within 6 months of notice to proceed was met. This project is one of several completed for the University on an on-call basis.
