AMT has recently won the following awards:
2007-2008 Rockville Library Building of America Award. The Rockville Library project won a Building of America Award and was honored in the 2007 / 2008 Real Estate & Construction Review - Eastern Seaboard Edition. AMT provided civil engineering and surveying services, which involved the construction of a 97,000 square foot building that accommodates the Library and other administrative offices, a parking area for 30 to 50 cars, and the construction of an adjacent parking garage.
2006 - Madison Heights By-Pass ACEC/MW Merit Award AMT received a Merit Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Metropolitan Washington (ACEC/MW) for the Madison Heights Bypass, Rt. 29 construction management and inspection project for the Virginia Department of Transportation, Lynchburg District, Amherst Residency. This project was the last of nine projects completing the 21 kilometer, $262 million, US 29 Madison Heights Bypass.
2006 - Construction Quality Award for the West Point Bridges project. The VDOT 2006 Virginia Construction Quality Award Panel announced that the Scheduling and Contract Division Construction Quality Award panel unanimously selected Fredericksburg District /Saluda Residency Route 33 West Point Mattaponi River - Bridge Replacement Project submission to receive the 2006 Construction Quality Award.

2004 - Census Bureau Award. AMT received an award from GSA and the Census Bureau for outstanding civil engineering and surveying services in connection with the New Census Bureau, and in particular for AMT's timely efforts in securing a Letter of Authorization for Work in Waters of the US and related MDE permits. AMT played a key role in keeping the project on schedule.
2003 - Sustaining Member of the Year Award. The Board of Directors of the Washington Post and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) selected AMT to receive the 2003 Sustaining Member of the Year Award. As the recipient for this award, AMT was also nominated for the National SAME J.W. Morris Sustaining Member of the Year for 2003.
2002-2003 ACEC/MW National Recognition Award for the University of Maryland Comcast Center in the ACEC Engineering Excellence Awards Competition.
2001-2002 and 2002-2003 ACEC/MW Member Firm of the Year This award honors the member firm that has been the most active, supportive, and visible in ACEC/MW during the year. AMT won the award due to outstanding support of ACEC/MW through committee participation, program attendance, sponsorship support, and serving in key leadership positions.
2002 - SHA Maryland with Pride Award of Excellence for Design. AMT was proud to earn the Maryland with Pride Award of Excellence for Design as recognition for the quality of the Kenilworth Avenue project from the Maryland State Highway Administration, the Federal Highway Administration, the Maryland Contractor Association, the Maryland Asphalt Association, the Maryland Concrete Pavement Association, the Maryland Transportation Authority, and the Consulting Engineers Council
